STEVE SEUNG KYUNG KIM
Prior to establishing Manna Capital Advisors LLC, Steve S. Kim was a partner at Marathon Asset Management and the firm’s CIO of Asia overseeing all credit trading and equity investments. Most recently, he was a Managing Director and Head of Credit at ICONIQ Capital, the multi-family office of several prominent Silicon Valley entrepreneurs based in San Francisco. Mr. Kim has extensive global market experience investing across various asset classes including distressed corporate and sovereign debt, public securities and private equity investments. He has successfully worked on numerous debt restructurings in Latin America and pan-Pacific Asia, led numerous private equity-focused investments and worked on various capital market transactions throughout his 23-year career.
Mr. Kim graduated with a B.A. in political science with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Masters in International Affairs with an emphasis on international finance from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. He is a published author (Wiley & Sons, 2003).
SIMONE ALFREDO GAROFALO
Simone A. Garofalo worked for various multilateral organizations including the United Nations/World Bank in Geneva and the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) early in his career. Later, Mr. Garofalo spent time at Citibank focused on corporate actions and Deutsche Bank within the bank’s Strategic Transaction Group. Mr. Garofalo has also worked with the Agnelli family trust and managed multiple high yield and special situations groups in Asia. He was responsible for a number of marquee M&A deals during his tenure in Hong Kong. Mr. Garofalo was most recently at ICONIQ Capital where he led origination and syndication for the firm’s merchant banking credit business.
Mr. Garofalo grew up in Africa and Europe, and was educated in the United Kingdom. He speaks fluent Italian, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese and has basic knowledge of Amharic. Mr. Garofalo graduated from Oxford University with a degree in econometrics.

SAM MIN
Sam Min was most recently with Morgan Stanley Asia in Korea where he was an Executive Director overseeing Telecoms, Internet and Media (TIM). His extensive research experience spans across online gaming, messenger apps, O2O and FinTech. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Min was responsible for lead coverage of Naver, NCSoft, LINE, KakaoTalk, NetMarble Games, SK Telecom and KT Corp, among others. Notably, Mr. Min led Morgan Stanley’s global research on LINE Corporation, which was publicly-listed dually in Tokyo and New York raising over US$1 billion. Mr. Min has over 20 years of public equity research experience and has been consistently voted as a top-ranked analyst by Institutional Investors, Asian Investors and Thompson Reuters. Mr. Min received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. He also attended Yonsei University for a Master’s degree in International Finance. Mr. Min has helped numerous CEOs and top management with non-deal roadshows and equity investor conferences in greater Asia, Europe and the U.S.
